About Me
I am a big Final Fantasy VIII fan. It was the first game in this series that I played and it has a huge place in my heart. I loved playing Triple Triad and collecting all the cards by playing hours upon hours with regular NPCs, The Card Club or the Queen of Cards. I made this project here for myself and maybe others will enjoy it too.

How did this project come to life?
In 2023 I wanted to give my brother the Triple Triad cards as a gift so that we could play together. However, I couldn't afford to buy them online and/or have them imported, so I thought about printing them myself. I did find card templates online, but they weren't 100% complete and weren't in the right format to have them professionally printed by suppliers in my area.
So I created my own design in the format I needed. Then I was faced with another problem: How do we implement the elemental rule, when we play? So I came up with a system for it with a D20 and self made coins. And then I thought: A game board for the 3x3 grid would also be cool.

And so this project was born. At this point I wanted to create a complete board game that you could make yourself as cheaply and affordable as possible. I also wanted a rulebook that not only explained the Triple Triad rules, but also the element distribution mechanism that I came up with. The aim was to create a game that you can play with (or give to) your friends who have never played Triple Triad before.
So I designed everything from the cards to a game board to a rulebook and more. The artworks I use are from artists who have given me permission to use their art for this project. Please check out there Websites!
When I started this project, it wasn't meant to be published or even shared, it was meant to be a gift for my brother. As it got more and more complex, I had the idea to share it. Why shouldn't others benefit from the time and thoughts I put into it?
What I love about it: You can spend some money and have the game board and cards professionally printed, or you can do it all yourself and just print it out on your own printer.
I really hope this makes it accessible to as many people as possible, which was always my goal!
